The G… has played drums with numerous bands over the last 30 years. His drumming skills awarded him the opportunity to play many different styles of music that include gospel, jazz, funk, R&B, Go-Go and the blues.
Inspired by his heart and soul, The G... created the album Sounds of The G...
The G... is just a simple man who loves good music of many genres. His favorite genres of music are Christian and Jazz. However, he can find appreciation in many styles of music.
On this particular album The G... is playing solo. So yes, everything that you hear on this album is done by one person, The G... Out of all of the instruments drums are his passion.

I am currently working on a Christian project with my lovely wife Arlene. It should be released in a few months and I am sure that it will be a blessing to all who hear it.

Greensboro, North Carolina multi-instrumentalist, Gerald Little (“The G”) has surfaced with his debut album of cool, relaxing Smooth Jazz, Nu Age and World melodies. The entire project was composed, performed and produced by The G… in his words, “Listeners will experience a plethora of instruments catering to their individual musical intellect.” We agree, SOUNDS OF THE G offers an assortment of musical grooves and styles that we believe will appeal cerebrally as well as emotionally to music enthusiasts all over. Lounging to SOUNDS OF THE G will only aid in relaxation and well-being. Songs like the uplifting “The G’s Jam” and the laid back concoction “Smooth Gear” may bring to mind composers like Jan Hammer or artists like the German-based instrumental ensembles Dancing Fantasy and Tangerine Dream. Ethereal yes, but grounded firmly in something soulful. We feel a lot of heart in The G’s music and it translates through in all 19 of his selections on this collection. Emotive instrumental music is what you’ll find here… from the infectious smooth groove, “Clock Tock,” to the 70’s tinged “Strut Your Stuff” to the cinematic “The Geisha,” SOUNDS OF THE G is a first effort displaying charisma and prowess. This Cd blows you away, awesome, outstanding arrangements, The G ahead of his time. tracks 7,12,16,17 & 19 were out of place didnt fit with rest of his awesome Cd. Id run out & buy this cd as fast as you can & you,ll be glad you did. george B.

Wow. This is the best Jazz CD I've heard in a long time. Years even. I "ve got a favorite song on this Album; "Passion", But the Album is the bomb as well as my favorite jazz album thus far. Can't wait til the next one hits the stores.

This album is great! I was not disappointed with the variety of music that this CD consist of. Normally I would have to download 19 different songs just to get the variety that I got from this album. It is a must have for any music enthusiast.
