The Great John Maddyn

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, "The Great" John Maddyn started his noble career writing poetry. Believe it or not, the artist never intended on becoming a MC... His first love was the music itself. At the age of 16 he showed his peers that he was a major threat on the production scene using samples from classic rock bands like "Chicago" and soulful R&B groups like "En Vogue." But the artist was much more talented than that and eventually stop using samples saying, "It's not my music... If I had to take a piece of someone else music." As time went on he eventually starting writing to his creations, becoming as he likes to say, "A one man band."
