Technical Requirements

(4) -Vocal Mics (Shure SM58 or better)
(3) -Instrument (Shure SM57 or better)
(1) -Direct Box (XLR and/or 1/4" input & output) to the Bass Amp
From audience view of Stage (l-r):
Instrument Mic, Vocal Mic ..... Jeff Hardin - Fiddle, Dobro, Mandolin, Vocals
Instrument Mic, Vocal Mic ..... Jim Stack -Acoustic Guitar
Direct Box (amp), Vocal Mic .. Jeff Weaver -Bass Guitar
Instrument Mic, Vocal Mic ..... Calvin Leport -Banjo
Mix Levels (volume blend):
We generally have the technician set the mics at the best possible levels... then allow us to work in and out (of the mics) during solos (for volume and dynamics).
