Formed in September 2005 in Tel Aviv, Israel, This Means You was one of the first bands to play music influenced by Emo, Screamo and Hardcore in Israel
After three years of intensive activity performing all over Israel with bands like Man Alive, Useless ID and Betzefer, This Means You finally went into studio to record their debut album “The Act” in August 2007
Yotam Ben Horin, lead singer and bass player for Israel's punk - rock pioneers Useless ID was chosen to produce the record.
"The Act" is a mix of the aggressive yet melodic sound of This Means You, with the polished production of Ben Horin
This combination spawned an extremely energetic album that can be enjoyed by Hardcore/Screamo purists as well as by the mainstream pop audience.
"The Act" is planned for release in June 2008
In the mean time you can listen to "The Bottle", the first single from the album as well as view a short clip from the studio on the band's Myspace page
