Tori has been quite the musician all of her life where she began singing and writing music when she was just the age of 7. At 8 she learned piano, and by 10 she was broadening her musical horizon, she picked up the violin. She felt she needed more, so at age 11, she took on a challenge of her own. To learn "The Guitar".
Well it turns out, for three years she blossomed herself by the, "self-teaching techniques", from old music books she found from her family, that had them lying around.
So, not until recent years did she go public with this admirable voice and song writing technique of hers. And now, here she is....! As you can imagine, this is one talented young adult. She is bright and has a heart of gold that is ready to take on the music world with what she has to offer.
A big part of this love of music comes from "her roots" musicians in her family. Her father was a professional musician most of his life, as well as her Grandfather. Where they played to large venues and many instruments.
"My daddy always told me to learn one instrument and the rest will fall into place" ~Tori
Tori has been performing professionally since the age of 13 on her violin for weddings and occasions. She has earned her own letter jacket from Orchestra. Maintained 1st chair in Orchestra, from grade school up, and is featured on solos in every Orchestra performance.
She says, “Music is my life; I love and need it like oxygen. My guitar and I are best friends, we work well together! My dream is to make it big and be someone in this small world in a very HUGE business."
"I want someone who has had the worst day to turn on the radio, hear something encouraging from me, and it to put a smile on their face. If I could do that, I would be the happiest person alive.” ~ Tori Allen
Tori is set to release her first 10 song EP by late 2008 or early 2009 entitled, "Stuck in This House" and will be featured on Vocals, Piano, Violin, and Guitar.
She is Indie and has no label yet.
