He continued to record music while at Notre Dame with his music group D-Season. A group that was formed out of other University of Notre Dame football players with talent to rap and make good music. King Mek Graduated in 2011 with a degree in Psychology. By this time he was already working on getting his music out for the public to hear doing small shows around the city of South Bend, IN. King Mek attended Western Illinois University in 2011 for grad school where he received an Internship to DJ on the schools radio station 88.3 The Dog. King Mek has a versatile flow and a tone that is very distinctive, which he has worked hard to perfect. When he speaks you want to listen because of his presence. He demands attention on and off the stage not only because of his size but his demeanor. His music leaves his listener's moved by his delivery and the story he tell's in all his music.
