This song I wrote when my grandmother, who raised me, was dying. I became her caregiver and brought her home with hospice after her doctor told us she didn't have much time to live. My grandma was my mother and my BEST FRIEND in the world. I wrote this song after several family members were pressuring her to fight and live when it was very evident that was not able to happen. This is the most intimate song I have ever written and composed.....
