Originally written and recorded by Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, Carbellion contacted Gear Publishing in Saginaw Michigan and purchased the mechanical licensing to release thier version of Fire Down Below on the Horse album. One interesting thing to note is that Bob Seger handles his own publishing rights through Gear Publishing and actually had to sign off that the song was approved to release. It was quite an honor to get his approval!
