Protector

Tells the dreamlike story of two young siblings attempting to escape from their fictional village, and the oppressive figures that follow and capture them. Driving rock instrumentation augmented with skittering samples and breaks in addition to some tasteful backing synths. Quiet, low vocals in the verses break into powerful chorus melodies that eventually carry the dramatic climax of the song and story.
