Grind or Die is a metaphoric song that illustrates the attitude of a young person as their environment transforms their mind from seeking and reaching his or her fullest potential due to lack of positive support. Instead, their life is filled with despair and hopeless, that forces many into bully like behaviors in order to survive. As a result, the protagonist in the song becomes dangerous not only his or her community, but also to themselves.
