Description
This is the first song on our debut album, Generation Nothing. Lyrically, it discusses the lack of identity of our current music scene and the lack of originality or anything cutting edge in pop culture. It compares the prior decades to the one we are living now and begs for change so our generation will have its own identity.
Lyrics
LYRICS TO: Generation Nothing By: Chris Casso (Casso / Lenat) I want to protest, but I don’t have a cause I’ll start a riot but I won’t break the law I can’t find a scene man, and that’s what’s wrong I don’t know the band, but I’ll download the song I said, my generation is getting to me need a remedy, we’ve got no identity Hey Hey Hey Everybody sing... it’s our generation Generation Nothing They say the revolution starts inside your head John Lennon did it all and he never left his bed If ‘Stairway To Heaven’ was a new song today they’d chop it in to pieces for the radio play I said, my generation is getting to me need a remedy, we’ve got no identity Hey Hey Hey Everybody sing... it’s our generation Generation Nothing Don’t want to be a wasted generation Don’t want to be generation nothing Don’t want to be a wasted generation I don’t wanna be Hey Hey Hey Everybody sing... it’s our generation Generation Nothing Everybody scream It’s our generation, it’s our generation Generation Nothing
