Old Country Houses

These days, it's rare to talk to someone who has lived in the same house all of his or her life. The majority of people I talk to have not. Having lived in so many homes, I often think about the people who have lived there before. Happy times, sad times, and everything in between comes to mind. This song is about passing old houses and wondering how they got so old and beat up. It's also about the cold weather and other conditions that move us into those places.
