Get It, Rabbit

“Get It, Rabbit” is, hands down, my favorite song on Even These Things Tell Stories. I love how it starts with a deep, yet almost melancholic, sense of urgency and menace that seems to melt away in the swirl of the chorus. Even though that uneasiness keeps returning over the course of the song, the ending is so joyous and energetic that you almost forget that the song has this threatening and creepy element underlying the whole thing.
