Shrinking Violet

This song was patiently waiting to be written and is the story of my life. Shy & artistic, I never thought I'd have the ability to express myself until Mark & I became friends. I stumbled on a sample guitar track that he recorded to test his new guitar. I wrote the story of my life in 5 minutes and recorded ‘Shrinking Violet’ in one take. The song was never altered or re-done from that moment as it is spoken in absolute truth and resolves itself to the power of friendship.
