Let It Fly

While sitting on my porch on the tiny Island of Culebra, I watched as a chestier cat smile of a moon winked in and out of the clouds passing harmlessly over head. Harmlessly to me that is, as this was the edge of category 5 hurricane Dean. I sat there with my guitar and started playing around with an outrageous rhythm that I must have picked up from the energy of the storm. Enjoying this energy, this rhythm, and that moon, in that moment... The song Let It Fly came into being.
