PlaySunrise Prayer Song

by SilverWolf

This is an old, traditional prayer song sang at sunrise. The song itself is in the Hopi language while the spoken prayer that follows is in the Cherokee language with an English translation included. This song has been sung as a morning prayer for a very, very long time. The photo used for the cover art was taken by WhiteWolf at the spot where he stood on tribal lands when he learned this song. - High C# Cedar Flute by Ray Wood of Island Flutes

Don't know what happened. I had favorited this one and I see that it was somehow removed from that status. I've marked it again.

Love it.

I haven't heard this song since some years back when I still had a copy of Douglas Spotted Eagle's CD "Prayer". Wish I knew how to speak Cherokee so that I can follow the prayer without the translation. Well done!
