The modern touches here really kick this song into high gear and show that Buck25 knows what it takes to write and play truly original rock music with heavy flourishes of strong lead guitar (3 mins into the song). But again for me, it is the strong and clean vocals of Bourret that lead the charge on this song, he is both distinctly unique but yet reminiscent of older rock singers who knew that pronunciation and feeling bring a song home.
