"Back Seat" was written for a film documentary about hate crimes against gays and lesbians called "Fagbug." It is the main song of the film played during the opening credits. The film has be shown at numerous film festivals in the U.S. and Internationally and has won several awards. Tegan and Sara also have a song in the film.
