Maritime May

When writing a song for the month of May, I was inspired by the optimistic spirit that summer brings and the feeling of rejuvenation and life that are inherent in it. At the same time there are still the nights when I question the more abstract and existential realities inborn in the universe. To balance such conflicting emotions, I separated the song into two halves: one for summer day and night. Each feeling is present, and optimism and introspection coincide harmoniously.
