"I kept hearing this chorus over and over again in my head. It just completely came out of nowhere and settled into my brain. One afternoon I was singing it to my songwriting-partner- in -crime, Nico Constantine, and he just started singing back a verse to me. We took it to the rest of the band and recorded it just a couple of days later. There was a mean spirited person that seemed to be making an attack on my big brother at the time.
