"You" was a song I had the music for a while back and I really labored on finishing it. One day we decided to add another song idea we had to the existing verses and it just wrote itself. The main vocal is about our singer's relationship with his ex, and in turn her relationship with her father and his untimely death, which is baggage she can't let go of.
