PlayOn the Back 40

This one's nothing more than my mom and dad's life together put to words and music. They say you write what you know, and every word in here's true...from the blind date to Vietnam to the country store we owned and lost to the farm crisis of the '80s. Growing up country can be tough...but the trials of life you go through really do end up as the ties that bind. That's what I learned from my time out "on the back 40."
