"You Don't Hold It" is a work that was written in response to the power some people think they have over others. The lyrics create an image of struggle and release. The instrumentals and volcals are intense and meant to evoke an emoitional response. The illusion of a military or govermental context is created by the drums however, the lyrics speak to all relationships that create an unjust position of power.
