Coming to Meet You

This is an oboe quartet (violin, viola, cello) written for Yali Chen. The impetus was a riff an old rock/metal band of mine used to play. This is a concept piece, the idea being that of a person obsessed with another person and having a discourse in his/her mind as to whether or not to meet the other person. In the end I think you can figure out for yourself what the outcome is.
