The song relays the poignant message that although Milwaukee was once known for its happy-go-lucky Happy Days personification, it is now a crime-ridden city where not even its own mayor is exempt from becoming a victim of random violence. The song features an impressive re-working of the classic blaxploitation-era song, ACROSS 110TH STREET.
