My Dad passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2004. I was an emotional wreck. Writing this song was sort of my way of healing myself. The song expresses the belief that one should live in the "now" as much as possible. Life is a wonderful gift and none of us know how long we will get to enjoy it, so think about where you are now and appreciate it.
