This song is a true story about my family, when my cousin was young the Government damned the river and they had to leave the only home he'd known. He is 65 now and still remembers, like it was yesterday. This song is dedicated to him and all my other family that went through this. My cousin Joel wrote a story about it and I wrote the song. The singer is Brian Baker!! It was recorded in Nashville at Gary Carter's music. gcmusic1.com. They did an awesome job!!

Renea, What a great way to commemorate an unfortunate family event, and what great lyrics, as well as production. Please keep writing about what you know and experience. I love this song. I'm a fan and a friend. This song has great commercial potential I think.
