The Peacock Syndrome

Classical? inspired and written as a tribute to Ravel's Bolero. I took the time signature and rhythm of Bolero and constructed a piece that is essentially a loop based melody. It begins with a simple folk melody in a Baroque style and then I introduced the melody and rhythm added each instrument I introduced a new harmony to play over the melody until the melody was completely drowned out by the harmony, then I improvised a little and returned to the original melody as a finale.
