Description

"Satosan" was inspired one of Kate Sikora's Japanese students while she was teaching English in Japan. This particular student was an elderly man who was quite debonair and had a good hold on the English language. At times, he would tell somewhat naughty jokes to Kate's embarrassment... but, just like this song, it was all in good fun. The song was recorded in Japan with a talented band of Kate's Japanese musician friends.

Lyrics

Satosan how can you talk to me so? You tell me dirty jokes and it translates some 50 years ago You're somebody's granddaddy I see the crease where your cigarette sits right between your lips I imagine...oh oh how it glows as it fills your lungs with smoke... Could be mine maybe It's never too late to try It's only too late when you die I fill your cup with whiskey You probably wouldn't even thanks me "No thanks, I'll have tea..." Satosan who tells you these things? and where have you been? I imagine you're older than you seem You're somebody's granddaddy It could be mine maybe It's never too late to try It's only too late when you die I fill your cup with whiskey You probably wouldn't even thank me "No thanks, I'll have tea..." Ba ba ba ba ba ba... ba ba ba
