Whiskey With My Blues

I wrote this song when I was living with my older brother in a beat up house in Lockport, IL. I was completely in love with the idea of being with a girl I knew. Problem....she was my buddy's girlfriend. Yep, it’s that old story. So, in an effort to numb the pain I drank a bottle of Jack and wrote this song. It has since become a crowd favorite. My pain, your gain. It is an upbeat song considering the circumstances in which it was written.
