I Won't Say Goodbye is a song that was written to help cope with the loss of a loved one. It is a reflection on the good memories with this person, and how we always wish we had more time to spend because you never know when it's over. The main theme of the song is that even though someone we love is gone for now, we never really have to say "goodbye". Instead we say "see you later", since we will be with them again and for now will keep them with us in our hearts.
