Bittersweet Reality

Its about where I was when God stepped in and took over my failing life. It was bitter because I had to deny myself and throw away the things that I wanted for myself that I knew God didn't want me to have. The sweet part is not having the world on your back anymore and letting a God who knows what's going on handle it all in His way on His terms. And it is a reality. There is a God who loves me and cares about me no matter how many times other things have tried to convince me otherwise.
