That's How We Do

I was in charge of a fence crew Just outside of Austin, but all I could think about was the gig I had later that night. My mind wandered, and I began to hum a tune. The next thing I heard was the sound of a water main busting: My crew had clipped a pipe. After the super screamed in my face, I climbed in my truck tired and muddy and sped towards home. As the Austin skyline appeared in front of me, I heard the tune I'd been humming earlier that day, and said out loud, "That's how we do."
