George is the fat little piggy they sent in to cut heads whren the theater ownership changed in 1996. Thus, the "David Allen Run" was born, son!

DESCRIPTION: This song is NOT about George Bush (SR. or JR)- David Allen Run: In the 1990's (seems so long ago) I (Aaron C.) worked as a stagehand and liaison between promoters and theater management at the legendary Paramount Theater in Seattle (at 901 Pine St.). David Allen was (and still is) the theater manager, and we called doing tasks for him "The David Allen Run". In 1996, Microsoft folks bought the theater and wanted to corporatize what was once ran like a family business, so they brought in a head-chopper (named George) to systematically clear out the "old" staff. I survived the longest, but alas, my time finally came when I got back from a well earned vacation to find I no longer was employed there. Sam, JT and I headed over to another buddies house and we jammed out "The David Allen Run" as a total improv and were fortunate enough to have the old 4 track running. The song gained a bit of a cult status over the years among those who heard the original, and it was suggested we revisit original recording and arrange it for the album- and that's that! -AC¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪ ♪♫•*¨*•.¸¸♥ ¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪
