Over the course of a weekend in November 2009, Dorsia entered Mission Ridge Studios in Plano, TX, and began work on two new songs. One of these was "Starcrossed," the story of two people hopelessly attracted to each other, with the odds stacked against them. Dorsia wanted to continue their brand of alternative rock, with lead guitars, catchy melodies, and moving bass lines.
