The Encounter

This is a song about a couple who has recently split up. One night, They happen to be in the same place at the same time. As he looks at her, she realizes him, but they do not acknowledge each other. He wants to get her back, but realizes this can never happen. Instead of fighting for her or asking if she will take him back, he stands his ground and simply hopes that, if she meets someone else...she will always remember him and the love they shared.
