(Repeat hook as coda…………………………………..) Footnote: The characters in this song are fictional and have no direct relation to any personalities, instances and the likes in real life…I wrote this song from an inspiration I had reading one western novel. A little insight about my interest in country music……..I like good Ol’American country western stories that have great moral lessons to teach like the one I have penned down above as a West African Country Musician currently reading a number of good western novels that will find thier way in my hands whenever I can – they say the best comes from the west – smiles Joe…One of my mum’s old proverbial sayings goes like this – “If the world was rid of all evil,we will go to sleep at night with our doors ajar”.Mine is “To take very good care,we always need to be aware” – Big Joe.Watch out for more of such beautiful songs from me as I get acclimatized with the great and rich American culture both past, present and future.Old country western is a big beautiful subset of country music in general when it comes to a lot of inspiring stories to tell in country music songs with various Indians, Caucasians,Mexicans and African American legends and heroes to crown the whole adventurous experience…Another chip of the great old country block that has a lot of good and great stories to offer interesting songwriting is the British – European country block. And then comes my roots in terms of native African country stories with numerous folklore and fables to offer in a lot of creative songwriting which will be demonstrated in some of my songs with time……Of cause there other cultures and traditions worldwide that have various dimensions of country music and folk that are yet to be explored apart the aforementioned ones that are of immense interest to me……My challenge and hurdles in songwriting are the visions of my dreams in this regard and how best to depict all these ideas that comes to me in rich patterns of illustrative songwriting with profound and enormous creativity.Contemporary stories are born out of our day to day living and so I guess I will have no problem telling them from time to time as they come to me in diverse inspirational forms……. “Truth be told,a good song always makes you in all wise mentally bold”. – Big Joe. “The deeper you go,the higher you become and the longer it sometimes takes, the stronger it will stand”. – Big Joe.
