bare feet, on the street with nothing to eat i gave him a penny but money is not what he needs he told me his story how nice it used to be wife and kids who loved him never let lifes lights dim 9/11 o' one last time he saw his loved ones wife and kids were in WTC on floor seventy three having lost his family he lived in their memory he longed for their touch his grief was too much his days had turned into nights and nights were always without lights switched off his phone and quit his job all he did day and night was sob then the bankers came home he hadn't repaid the loan took away all his property he had to start living in the street
