My Everything

I wrote this song in late 2005 for a girlfriend I had met several months earlier. About a year later on October 10, 2006, my girlfriend's birthday, I used the song to surprise her. We were alone on a partly cloudy day at Torrey Pines State Beach, and when the song comes to the part where it says, "And a diamond ring," I dropped down (skakily)and proposed.
