The main character is a notorious alcoholic, who wakes up to find out he'd been molesting his wife once again, only this time she won't take it anymore. He finally realizes his mistakes (or at least it would seem so...), but it's a bit late for that. Come to think of it, the ending is a bit unclear, but feel free to presume that everything ended well, although it most probably was not the case, statistically speaking... :D
