Description
An acoustic performance of a song written back in 2005. It's about the kindness of a group of people who I hardly even knew which lead to the recording of the album and is widely regarded as one of my best songs.
Lyrics
Verse 1 Recently it had been coming back to haunt me, Sitting boxed up my room, My faith was wearing thin, I did not have a clue, Of where I could begin, But then hope comes in unlikely forms, And then hope comes and I feel reborn, Chorus And I feel I need this charity, x3 Even more, Verse 2 Well that's the problem with feeling like a puppet, When you have not got any strings, But I'm a real boy yeah watch my little legs run, Now I'm someone else's toy, Because hope comes in unlikely forms, And then hope comes and I feel reborn, And then hope comes and it takes the strain, And then hope comes and it dries the rain, Chorus Bridge And kindness comes, in the form of strangers, Chorus
