New Hope was originally a hard rock song that Evangeline wrote for an animated film over 10 years ago. With the passage of time, the lyrics themselves were realized to be conveying a higher message than originally intended, and Evangeline decided to re-write the music to better convey the message in fitting with this new project's electronic/symphonic/harmonious theme.
