Lyrics

“Slight of Season” By David Hayes Copyright©2011 Looking out my window, I see the limousines. Painted long and black, I smell the gasoline. A storm on the horizon, spinning like a carousel. As she approaches, I hear the ring of a bell. Cool wind blows power lines. Communication is broken, not a bird on the wire. Everyday goes by I make a sacrifice. People still find reason in a roll of the dice. Cruising around to pick all the fallen signs, People still believe politicians and the lies. Everyday goes by we make a sacrifice. It’s a slight of season but things are just sublime. Written by David Hayes Copyright©2011
