They have a unique sound that is fresh, original and inventive. In August they recorded their first e.p, "Raging Sky" which features the songs, Consumption, Fall To Pieces and Drift Away, recorded at Data Recording Studio in Tralee alongside Brendan O'Regan. Itopia was formed in Galway city in May 2008.
