“This song is about falling in love with the right person at the wrong time. I guess, technically, there isn’t a wrong time to fall in love, but there are situations that we choose, situations that fall upon us, that have steep consequences. I think our loins override logic 99% of the time. This particular photo shoot is the reference for the pictures making “pretty messes,” because my heart started aching for the man behind the images.”
