Parades in Heaven

This song originates from a single experience from a funeral I attended. As I was in the cathedral, the back doors opened and the family walked down the center hallway with the casket. Although they were all very saddened, their march reminded me of a parade. And in heaven, this is a time of rejoice, not suffering. So the juxtaposition of these two seemingly different events was very interesting to me.
