So Hard to Say Goodbye

This song is a remake of one I wrote nearly 20 years ago. It tells an all too common story about the ending of a relationship and a desperate attempt to save it on the part of one of those involved. Sometimes letting go turns out to be the only option, but acceptance is yet another thing entirely.
