74 Was A Good Year

Duration

3:16

Description

I graduated high school in 1974. I was playing all night in a rock band on weekends. We were usually the house band which played till the early morning hours. I have had many of my high school buddies pass away in the past few years. This song is just a tribute to the great days of the 70's! References to important songs and events that took place in 1974!

The band was on the run Cats in the cradle and candle’s in the wind Boy, we were having some fun (repeat) V3 Running down the beach today, the scene it has quite changed But the only thing that still remains is the water in my veins So here’s to all who’ve fallen, the best of my love to you I hope one day we’ll meet again down the halls that we walked thru.
