THE BRITT LLOYD BAND Presents: “Chrome ’89 De Ville” While in college, Britts’ buddy “Big Al” had a Chrome ’89 Coupe they traveled to gigs in. They had 4 tapes for the trip to sing along to. Included in those were Larry Joe Taylor, & ZZ Top. When they picked up the other band members (in an upscale subdivision) the horn would blast the neighbor hood. If you’ve ever heard the horn on a Coupe you know its like a freight train. One of these journeys resulted in this song.
