Exploratory Observations Music by Stephen Speelman & Victor Tassone Lyrics by Stephen Speelman Travel to the forests of rain, as they’re known. It’s prehistoric. The sun can’t shine through the trees overgrown. It’s prehistoric. The timber climbs up so high it seems they’re touching the sky. Magnificent yeah! The plants, there’s so many types, and fruits from rotten to ripe. They’re so delicious. Reproduction by seeds – something that always succeeds. Insects that constantly feed on all of the leaves that they need. A thousand species per mile, it’s been around for a while. Surviving hundreds of millions of years. It seems so timeless. Thriving with water that flows crystal clear. It’s so refreshing. The rivers run through their lanes just like a network of veins. Providing water to drink and doing more than you think. Endless flowering plants unique to this habitat, Countless species of birds, just unbelievable stuff. Working, converting that gas – Co2. It’s scientific. Providing the oxygen we need to use. It’s scientific. Hundreds of inches of rain, temperatures always maintained. The moisture helps to create a thick cloud cover so great.
